The Return of A(nother) Legend

For the second month running we were fortunate to be able to secure the services of a goalkeeping legend to do the honours with the Club 1968 draw.

After Willie McInnes was kind enough to visit us in August to do the draw and examine his plaque in the Hall of Fame, Jamie Speare, probably remembered by many more supporters, came to the Wham on September 18th for a couple of photo opportunities and to draw the winning balls.

It has to be said that if Willie is looking remarkably fit and spry for his ninety years, the considerably younger Jamie is looking pretty good, too. Obviously shot-stopping for Stanley is a recipe for fitness!
