Also in 2018, new floodlights where installed in each corner of the ground. Replacing the old pylons that had been at the ground since floodlights were first used in the 1980s

At the end of the 2018/19 Season the pitch was levelled and relaid with a new drainage system to finally cure the problems that had dogged the Crown Ground for so many years

Work also continued on the re-alignment of Blocks G,H & I of the Jack Barrett Main Stand, replacing the remnants of the old Main Stand

Included in these works was a new ticket office added at the end of the re-worked stand

A vital piece to the current jigsaw was a new PA System covering the whole of the Stadium, which can be heard from miles around

Major redevelopments behind the main stand saw a new hospitality suite built, with the 1968 Lounge and Coley’s Bar

Finally! New changing rooms downstairs, with a management suite and third hospitality area upstairs
