What a successful dedicated fixture. Her Game Too has been partnered with Accrington Stanley for nearly 3 years and this is our third dedicated fixture.
The fixture saw a build of posts to the run up of the fixture, stocked up free sanitary wear throughout the ground (as always every match), players in warm T-shirts, an all female playlist, girls football teams as mascots and halftime teams as well as plenty of photo opportunities with cowboy hats!
We felt like the campaign is very well known at Accrington now with lots of supporters welcoming us and knowing what we are about and a lot of people talking about the campaign. It was great to hear people feel like they are in a safe and welcoming space. The whole day was a success raising awareness about the Her Game Too campaign. We’d like to thank all the players, staff and supporters for getting involved. Football really is a game for all! 🔴⚪️
