The Supporters Trust has reluctantly accepted the resignation from the board of Peter Warburton, who has served as Treasurer and Vice chair over the past 12 months.
In previous roles Peter has also served as membership secretary and also as general board member before assuming the Treasurer’s mantle in 2020.
His decision to step away from the board is understandable and he will continue to assist with the hand over whilst also overseeing the Arndale Shop operation.
Peter has been a hardworking and loyal board member and will continue to be a familiar face around the Wham Stadium, having made his decision public at Thursday’s AGM.
The board would like to put on record our thanks for his monumental efforts, particularly in the transition from a supporters club to a community benefit society, as well as keeping reins on our financial wellbeing.
