We’re looking to build our collection of programmes and we’re asking your help!
We’re on the hunt for any old Accrington Stanley match programmes from the post-World War II era right through to 1962 – basically anything from the late 1940s when the club was rebuilding in the Football League Third Division North, all the way up to their final season in the Football League before the famous resignation in 1962. Whether it’s home games at Peel Park, away fixtures, friendlies, or cup ties – if you’ve got any tucked away in a box in the loft, We’d love to hear from you!
These programmes are such a brilliant piece of Stanley history, capturing the club’s ups and downs in those tough post-war years, the battles against the odds, and that classic red and white era before the club had to start again. Even if they’re not in perfect condition, creased, scored, or just a single issue, they’re still hugely valuable to collectors and fans who want to preserve the legacy of the original Accrington Stanley (1891-1962).
At OASST we already have an extensive collection of ASFC programmes which we’re trying to add to and preserve our great history for future generations to be able to look at and cherish.
